It’s that time of year again!

WHAT IS IT?

GiveSTL is an online day of giving where nonprofits (like us!) reach out to their supporters to help them in their mission. Since it’s inception in 2014, GiveSTL day has raised more than 26 million for local non-profits.  This year, in celebration of TEN YEARS of amazing generosity from the area, this year the St. Louis Community Foundation is offering an extra ten hours of giving. GiveSTL Day starts at midnight on May 10th, and continues until 10am on May 11th.

The past couple of years have been so strange, but unfortunately the needs of the kitties never stop.  We are trying to hit a goal of $5,000 this year, but more that that, we’re asking for you to keep us in mind if you have the ability to donate.  The money raised will go towards veterinary bills, and provide food and supplies for our cats in foster care; current and future.

WHEN IS IT?

The official day is May 10th, but early giving starts April 10th, so mark your calendars!  Giving can be done through this link: https://www.givestlday.org/strayhavenrescue or scan the QR code below.

PRIZES: 

In addition to what you donate, we have a chance to win extra donations!

• Any nonprofit that receives a donation from during the early giving period (from April 10 to midnight on May 9) will be entered into a random prize drawing for a $500 cash prize.  There will be 2 early giving prizes.
• The first nonprofit to receive a donation on May 10th will be awarded a $500 prize. (There is also a prize for last donation, and the same non-profit can win both prizes!)
• We have chances to win $1,000 for the most money raised in the following hours:
  • 12am-1am
  • 8am-9am
  • 4pm-5pm
• We have chances to win $1,000 for the most unique donors in the following hours:
  • 4am-5am
  • 12pm-1pm
  • 8pm-9pm
• There are 7 Power Hours throughout the day.  During these times, an additional $20,000 will be divided between the nonprofits based on number of gifts during the Power Hours.
  • 6am-7am
  • 9am-10am
  • 12pm-1pm
  • 3pm-4pm
  • 6pm-7pm
  • 10pm-11pm
  • May 11th 9am-10am (New this year for the 10th anniversary)
• We have a chance to win a random $5,000 end of the day prize pull as long as we’ve received at least one donation.
• The last nonprofit of the day to receive a donation will receive a $500 prize.  Remember: since this is the 10 year anniversary, the end of Give STL Day is at 9:59:59 AM on Thursday, May 11th!
