Senior Cats for Senior LapsStray Haven Rescue announces new foster program: Senior Cats for Senior Laps: providing seniors with a loving feline companion to spend time with. Studies show that having a feline companion can result in the many health benefits for both the foster and the cat. To find out more about this program, click here.

Trap, Neuter, ReturnStray Haven Rescue is taking action to compassionately and effectively reduce and control the feral and stray cat population through a trap/neuter/return (TNR) program.  Click here to read about our Trap–Neuter–Return Program

Meet Theodore

Theodore

Hi! My name is Theodore, and I'm approximately two years old. I'm a gentle giant, handsome, friendly, extremely laid back, and I'm good with cats and dogs. I am FIV positive, but I can live as long and healthy a life as any other cat.

FIV cats do not necessarily have to be separated from non-FIV cats; you can go online and read more about FIV (which is spread primarily through vicious, deep bite wounds, and I'm a lover, not a fighter). I am neutered, microchipped, FIV positive, FeLV negative, and current on shots.

Be sure to check out our adoptable pets.

Stray Haven Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization that was founded in St. Louis, Missouri. Stray Haven is dedicated to promoting the health, well-being, and welfare of all cats, domestic, stray, abandoned, and feral. We find loving homes for these animals once they’ve received veterinary care and are deemed healthy and fit for adoption.

Our goal is to educate the public about the companion animal overpopulation issue and help to provide solutions to end the killing of adoptable animals.
